A Little Piece of Love That Stays Forever

Amarantha Jewellery was born from love, loss and the desire to keep someone precious close.

My journey into cremation and mourning jewellery began after I lost my beloved black cat, Nightshade — my best friend and a little soul who meant the world to me.

Losing her left a space in my heart that words could never fully explain. I wanted to find a way to keep her close, something meaningful that would remind me that although she was no longer beside me, the love we shared had not disappeared.

That longing led me to cremation and mourning jewellery, and eventually to the creation of Amarantha Jewellery.

I know what it means to search for something that helps you feel connected to someone you have lost. This store grew from that experience, and from the belief that love deserves to be remembered in ways that feel personal to each of us.

A Goth Heart, a Love of the Unusual

I'm a disabled goth woman living with lupus, and my love of gothic beauty, mythology, celestial symbolism and the darker, more romantic side of life is woven into Amarantha's identity.

I've always been drawn to the beauty found in shadows, the stories behind ancient symbols and the idea that something can be both haunting and beautiful.

That's reflected in our aesthetic: deep midnight blues, rich purples, antique gold, celestial motifs and designs inspired by mythology, nature and the enduring bonds between souls.

For me, gothic style isn't simply about appearances. It's a way of finding beauty in the unconventional, embracing individuality and recognising that there can be tenderness in darkness.

Living with lupus and disability is part of my story, too. I bring my own experiences, limitations, creativity and determination to building Amarantha Jewellery, one step at a time.
