Most cremation jewellery is designed to hold only a symbolic portion of the ashes — usually between ½ and 2 teaspoons depending on the design.
- Small pendants and lockets typically hold ½–1 teaspoon
- Larger pieces such as our Antique Style Memorial Cremation Pendant can hold a little more
- Rings and very delicate designs hold the least
A full set of adult ashes is usually 1.8–2.7 kg, so even the largest pendant holds only a tiny fraction. This is intentional — it keeps the jewellery light and comfortable to wear every day.

- Place a small amount in jewellery
- Keep the majority in an urn
- Share tiny portions with close family
